This stunningly beautiful Scripture Scroll of Ruth is designed
to portray the parchment of an original Megillat Ruth, with
spectacular art reproduced in vivid color accompanying the
text that presents scenes from the biblical story contained in
the scroll. It presents Hebrew and English text side-by-side,
which tells the story of the Moabite woman who decided to cast
her lot with both her Jewish mother-in-law Naomi and the
Jewish people. As a result she was blessed by Boaz, her
kinsman redeemer.
It was Ruth who uttered these immortal words of faith in God:
“Wherever you go, I shall go. Wherever you live, I shall live. Your
people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die
I will die” (Ruth 1:16–17).
