This hard cover book includes 56 pages of colorized wood-engravings by nineteenth-century French artist Gustave Doré which was imposed into photos of the sites in the Holy Land that are as near as possible to the locations where the events occurred. Graphic design of this volume— including photographs, colorization of Doré’s wood-engravings, and imposition of art into photos—is by Michael Amar Studios, Jerusalem. All of Gustave Doré’s art is in the public domain.
